Would you splash out on a moleskin for a journal

I've almost filled up my current journal which has lasted me four years. I'm thinking of getting a moleskin for the next one but they do seem expensive for a notebook yet they do look nice. Has anyone used one?

I got one a bit back on a special offer. It was nice but I wouldn't pay full price for one. But then I tend to use mine for my creative writing so scribble and scrawl in them and tend to fill them up fairly quickly so not really going to get my money's worth out of one
If yours last you 4 years then maybe it's worth it more. 0 -
I use them and really like them. You don't have to pay full-price for them. They are often around half-price on Amazon. If you just want something that looks like a Moleskine, but don't mind a slight reduction in quality Rymans do a Moleskine dupe. If you are wanting a good quality acid-free journal you could also try Cartesio or Ciak.0

Yes! They are lovely and they have a nice secret compartment at the back hehe.
Have a look on ebay, I have gotten a few ones cheap on there or amazon as Hermia suggested. x0 -
Really nice and you can get them in red too

I love moleskine notebooks and always keep an eye out for them being on offer. I like that the pages aren't brassy white and have a good texture, I use mine as diaries to keep track of things in my head!
I would agree that Amazon has some good prices, also keep check of places like Waterstones and Paperchase who can sometimes have offers across the store which can include the moleskine range.0 -
I also love them and have several, from the pocket sized to the A5 notebook. They look so lovely, I often just like to stroke them!
And if you use a proper fountain pen, the writing is a lovely experience
