my mother is going to have a fit:o:o:o:p:p:p

Do you manage to use everything up thats in all the freezers? I just have the 1 freezer (upright 6ft tall) as I wont keep anything for more than 6 months so I make sure the stuff gets used up.

O/T (what is the topic on this thread anyway?:rotfl:)

I never seem to have much Ts secrets to share so I thought I'd share something else that might help some peeps.

I recently got an e-mail from Amazon about their trade-in scheme. They have a promo on that gives you £5 credit if you trade in £10 or more on books.
My Uni books were just gathering dust so I sent them off (they send you a label to print off for freepost too :T) and got my e-mail today to say they are giving me £32 for my 4 books and an additional credit of £5. I don't "do" e-bay so it was a good deal for me.

    Hope it helps someone :D

i saw this on the dark site over the weekend and forgot to post about it... (face palm)

you get £5 for every £10 of books, so split it into batches of £10 or more and you will get £5 credit for every batch of £10 books

postage is free - you print our a RM delivery label, and drop it off the post office.

I have 3 years worth of law books, 5 years worth of meds books.

the law ones are low in value, as they are revised every year/every other year when new precedents comes in place. The medic ones are the ones I am very happy about.... :):):)

Hi, i have just had my price check in with the pizza deal but also i bought a 425g pack of ham which i thought it would come back as the same price in Asda [ i was trying to make my spend up to £40.00 to use the £5 voucher] anyway it compared to Asda smart price ham at 400g for £1.65 ,what i bought was the 425g of best buy ham at £4.00 in Tesco and it compared to asda 400g smart price ham at £1.65 which ment i got a jtd of £2.35 a good one to add to the pizza deal .hth

That sounds like a really good deal. Which ham did you buy? I think they do normal, honey roast and crumbed 400g of ham for £1.65 is a bargain.
:oI love to help people by sharing my bargains:o

Yes some of mine they priced at 25p so I've kept them back and will add one more higher value one to bump it up to the £10;). The T&C state its one offer per customer but DD really needs an amazon account ;)
Its great they give free postage too :T

  • Hi, I got one of the super cheap Storios for my daughter last year sometime and after a couple of goes it stopped working. I was able to exchange because had come via direct but I spoke to Vtech prior to that and they were really helpful and I would have got a replacement from them if Tesco couldn't do it for me. You would be well withing the years guarentee period anyway. It's a shame Tesco can't just order you one in from Direct tho

    Cheers, I'll contact them.
