Think Asda is going to be busy tomorrow as Martin's put the deals on his weekly newsletter. Think I might give As a miss!

I thought that when I read the email. So glad I've been and got my stuff before the hordes descend! Round our way thursday is pension/benefits day do it all goes completely mad in there anyway. I suspect tomorrow will be just that little bit madder!

I had the Moroccan stir fry mix tonight, very nice it was too :-)

Blue lovely to see you posting over on this thread.

Thanks Karen. I used to keep up with the thread when it first started after dtd but if I miss a day or so it's hard to get back into it. I thought I could talk esp with a few bottles of the Blue stuff in me, but you lot beat me hands down:D

plus if you register you get 100 points free worth a quid :T:T

costa card I'm on about btw.
    https://www.costa.co.uk/coffee-club/coffee-club-explained

Definitely register. Every month or so you get sent a deal whereby you have to visit a set number of times and then get double points for those visits. So if you intend wombling that is the time to womble.

5 points per whole £1 spent.

each point is worth 1p against all costa food & drink products. Small coffee is about £2.15, giving 10 points. In promotion time that is doubled to 20 points worth 20p against a future purchase. So almost one in ten coffees free.

Yup, I'm glad to be back in work. I've managed to drink two cups of tea in peace, ate my lunch, had a *ahem* lunch break in A and got a great haul, got a bargain re: pampers nappies this morning with lots of coupons/til spits and am totally caught up with this thread. Think I'm going to pop out again for some more pampers and hopefully more til spits in a little while. Can you tell my boss isn't in the office :rotfl:
and he's off tomorrow too -

Can you tell me what the pampers deal was?

As a football supporter of many years I am very  on their behalf, they were more or less told if you want to keep the club you have to accept what the new owners want to do or you can go broke

Yes but being cold beef it tastes a bit fatty when eaten cold which I don't mind, I've never eaten it hot
