    I PASSED!!!!!

I am in shock, almost 2 years of lessons and I've done it, wish my mum was still here to see it. I wore her cross and had a cry after my test, hopefully the year is getting better.

Just need one of these for me and the dog.

Congratulations learning to drive really is the best thing I ever did, if only I could afford the petrol now :(

Right off for my first drive on my own, if I'm not back in an hour it's because I'm doing 5 miles an hour with a queue behind me.

    *Rant Alert*
sorry about putting this here but I need to vent and I've got nowhere else.
My oh had his leg amputated 8 years ago due to gangreene, it was 7 weeks from when he got an ingrowing toenail until they took the leg off. Over this weekend we've found a very large blister on his other foot which has gone black, been trying to get him an appointment at the hospital but they're saying they've got nothing until 2nd July, by then it will be too late. I've took him to our gp and a&e but they've said he needs to be seen by the specialist and can't do anything.
I don't know where else to turn.

    sorry about venting on here

Take the 2nd July appointment but tell the specialists secretary when you have his name that you are willing to take a cancellation at short notice & ring every couple of days to reiterate also explain the need for the urgency.

I've found if you have a valid reason the specialists secretary not the appointments dept can be very helpful ~& human give her OH hospital number & she can dig out the notes of what happenned last timeto show the specialist

Is it sad that I'm glad to be back in work this morning? working and lurking is sooooo much easier than being at home and having a child/housework/cooking/cleaning to do.

Know exactly what you mean, this extended weekend played havoc with my forum reading, and am now pages behind :(
