    catch you folks tomorrow .

we're just watching all the tadpoles (talentless and desperate people on lame entertainment show) going into the big brother house .
it's a sort of marmite show for me , I watch it but i usually dislike the people who are in there ..
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

I won't post on their facebook page though:o ranted about strawberries not long ago, but have liked most of the posts relating to the Price checker. I'm quite glad I didn't put my wombled ones in yesterday. Just the b&j (and no not Blow****:eek::eek::eek::rotfl:)receipt.

    Time to catch up.

Good to see you around JJ.

This is why I love this thread so much....JJ asks a question....

....then 3 minutes later we get a response from lala....

....followed by another response 2 minutes later by MB.

    Amazing!!

    :T:j:T:j:T

It is brill how helpful folk are :T

I feel a bit guilty as of late as I don't have the same time for browsing the thread. I love keeping up with it but haven't managed to do so for a few weeks.
I have been severely limiting my Ts visits as I really don't like the manner of the staff in my locals. I have managed to keep within my budget (almost ;)) by being extremely strict with my purchasing and meal planning.
I'm living the grocery challenge threads. The folk on the old style boards are also a lovely, thrifty bunch :)
I am even more frugal than before now. If I run low on milk, I water it down to strreeeeeeetch it out further, etc to prevent yet another trip to the supermarket. If we run out of cereal, we have toast. If we run out of potatoes, we have pasta....
It all helps to limit the shop to one a week with a couple of quid aside for a possible emergency purchase.
Since doing this, I haven't been trouted at all :j and shopping is less stressful. It's left time for the other demands on my time instead.

I'm sad to miss Toni's wedding pics. I haven't seen them quoted and would never find them by scrolling back.
I love fudge cakes posts when I spot em as they kind of summarise very succinctly how everyone is doing such as Alan and Mrs 3 Dogs :)

I still like to check in on you all though. :)

    JJ

You know that moment when you have just the best cup of tea? I just had that moment and want another one now!

That will be me in who knows when. I ran out of redbush tea bags 2 weeks ago and have MADE myself drink filtered water instead as I get through about a hundred bags a fortnight just on myself.
I'm rather proud of my self restraint but boy, will that tea taste nice when I cave in and get some!!!!!
