They're cardboard flyers ... I meant to look in store but forgot but there were a few in trolleys and scattered around the carpark. As I said I wombled a few but dunno if a scanned version would work ... worth trying me thinks )

Thanks MKS think long drive on saturday must have caused it, not got properly diagnosed but think it's a bursitis on my elbow. Wearing a compression bandage and trying really hard to do everything one armed, does not hurt as much today thank goodness.

I got some cooked chicken bits in little As last night, 10p pack. Seriously thinking about defecting from Ts. :rotfl:

Any time I've returned something to Ts without a receipt I've been told they couldn't give me the amount on a moneycard and that I could only exchange for a similar product

So if you spent £30 on whisky, returned it without a receipt, wouldn't they insist you swap it for another £30 worth of alcohol?

Who said anything about without a receipt? The OP wanted to make up a £40 shop to use a 5 off 40. I suggested a few essentials and an expensive 'gift' that would need to be returned.

And yes, if you return without a receipt, its either a case of "sorry sir............." or "yes we can accomodate you sir but you need to exchange for goods to same value in the same section". Thats been my experience anyway. It varies from store to store and unless its a tesco own brand item, they are totally within their rights not to offer you anything, and often do.

Thanks for the info. That's a nice offer but my Tesco are very strict with the one per transaction, and they get approved on the tills too (so they read the voucher and say you can only use one). It's wierd because they're not like that in my hometown Tesco but it's too far to get to.

In case you didn't seemy previous post Tesco have fixed the jtd glitch on the Pizza/ice cream deal.
Only buy a deal if you are happy to pay £5, don't buy extra cos they are going to cost 52p!!
