    Morning everyone
Apologies for lurking for a few days will explain later
Am in asda and checking out the current pizza and ice cream deal
Have I got this wrong but the Chicago town pizza is £3.50 in asda and the Ben and jerrys is 4.99
This wouldn't give you a jtd would it?

You need to buy the deal in T's. £5 for T's 2 garlic baguette, B&J's core ice cream 500ml, and a Chicago town pizza.

Then use price check, as T's have compared their full non offer price, to A's. You get £4.48 then, making cost 52p. If JTD continues

A couple of years ago, that's exactly what I'd be buying
Only drink on the occasional night out now and know and stick to my limits... ;)
I'm not sure any of us have room in our freezers or fridges for another 40 quids worth of shopping! No decent DTD's lately either -although I did get a nice pair of headphones 20 quid scanned at 40- on the way up here the other day. Complete with goldie too as the CS lady tried to con me with JTD and got herself in a flap. They made it about 30 miles down the road before they managed to escape back to another T's :)

I guess the only thing you could do if you need a few odds and ends (tea coffee sugar cereal etc) is buy those and a nice posh bottle of single malt then return the 'unwanted gift' in a day or two.
Last month I had to remove the baskets from my freezer in order to fit my whoopsies in... So annoying that I haven't been able to take advantage of the pizza/ice cream deal, know any deals on a cheap secondary freezer? :rotfl:

Hi everybody I have just done another Mr A run. I got some the chicken stock, 25p sichuan stir fry sauces for 20p, egg fried rice for 50p and I had coupons for campbells soup.
I might try to get to a Mr T later on as I still have welch's coupons.
I hope you all have a good day.

It was instore yesterday and on closer inspection there was no actual end date, odd for T's but I couldn't see one. In my store it was printed on the waist level gates that open as you walk in...not a great description sorry but that's where I saw it!

there wasn't any great effort put in by our T's to advertise the 20% off Finest products but ten again I wasn't looking that hard for them apart from the whoopsied section .

had 2 nice Italian style meals that weren't pizza looking .

    Morning to all MSE'rs!:)

I've really taken a back seat on this thread and to T's as I've been 'trying' to work hard on my final OU assignment!:o

Still writing and really want to get it done by Fri so I can have 2 days 'proper' holiday;) before I'm back to work!

I loved all your whoopsie pics the past few days and wish I'd gone to T's, or even Waitrose for free strawberries.

Sorry if I haven't been thanking all your posts properly, have been skim reading most of the time.:o

Please can someone explain why the meal deal is a really good deal? Is there a glitch?:D I'm a MASSIVE fan of B&J's so if there is I might HAVE to pop out!

Hope you all are having a great holiday even if the weather is miserable!;)

Will catch up again in half an hour!:p

You will have to take a break from the assignment, so when you do the deal is buy a frozen " takeaway, chicago town pizza" plus 338 g 2 pack frozen garlic bread and ben and jerry core icecream. Cost 5 pound. JTD is 4.48, so 52 p:T

if you have space in freezer you might like to take some takeaway chilled pizza priceflop mocs and look at whoopsies etc.

make sure you do seperate transaction for JTD as you don't want to lose money.

what's the assignment??? I am meant to be revising for my exam.

    Good luck anyway.

  • Actually I rather like the pepperoni chicago town one. Its way too moreish though and I can quite easily sit and eat a whole one.

I think I'm safer if theres not any sat in my freezer. ;)

Definitely...for that reason I've got rid of my stockpile of Thorntons Christmas Spirits recently :p
What I like about homemade pizza dough though is that you can control the thickness of the base, great as I find the shop-bought ones are usually too thick for my liking. And OEP salsa works well if you're too lazy to prepare a tomato topping ;)
