Morning gang - Alan not well enough to go to car boot this morning. He had his cereal and then had to go straight back to bed :(
talking of things arriving in the post. i just got 2 free casserole dishes from jus-rol. i completey forgot about them. brilliant recipe booklet as well. gonna try the squash and leek pie. never had butternut squash before anyone know what it is like?

We love butternut squash - as someone else said, roasted in slices or as chip-shape - deeeeelishous :j :j

Marrowfats are a bit hit & miss now I can never remember which ones are like they used to be & which ones are in a tasteless blue liquid I think its Tescos. It really winds me up when I buy tins of carrots or peas as a standby & by mistake they are just in water :(

That video gets me everytime & I love Darius Rucker's voice one of the few black country singers he used to be the lead singer in Hootie & The Blowfish but I have no idea about them.

I shall now think of Mr3dogs everytime I have mushy peas ;)

Then I will give you an image to go with it. To set the scene ..... first night staying at friends down Portsmouth last month, after eating fish, chips and mushy peas too quickly. Mr 3Dogs goes straight to bed and when I go in there an hour later, he was just getting off the bed as his stoma bag had burst. Looking down, mushy peas looking like straight out of the can in a pile on top of one of his slippers he'd just put on. Mind you, glad it hit the slipper and not the cream carpet   One of the problems of life after an ileostomy and with a stoma :(:p sorry if that is too much information :o
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(

Wonder what my cut is :spam:

of course , why else set up a site like this...I never believed all the hype about this site doesn't make money .

at the end of the day the majority of the internet is about making £'s and selling products to consumers .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

  • Has anyone bought the Finest meal deal since the 20% off Finest food started?
Just wondering if it'll take 20% off the total, or each individual item... Tried it online but it doesn't seem to be showing any discount for Finest items
