Back from hozi, dd had grit in eye, went yesterday, thought it was all out, but must have missed some, or got more in.

    NHS staff were fantastic :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

The doctor who examined her eyes was about 25, 26, pretty and well fit, was going to ask her out, then remembered the wife was in the room :D

Asked one of the nurses about the young lad that got hit, she didn't no, 10 minutes latter another nurse came into the room, she told me she had been with him, his head and organs ok, both legs severely damaged :(

Easy to take kids and other loved ones for granted because they are there all the time, it's when they are not there you really notice.

Tried to phone mate earlier to go for pint, i'd forgotten he is dead.

Can we all bin the arguments now please.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

What do we reckon will be the best day and time for whoopsies over the jubilee weekend - I note from Ts website that a lot of ts open 24 hours again from Monday at midnight and aren't treating the Tuesday as a bank holiday and opening for just 6 hours

I was scratching my head tonight as to why they have had adverts on tonight saying the price of party food has been reduced already, do they think everyone already has bought it ?

Frequent, hugs to you, sounds like you need them at the moment. Really hope the little boy is ok and your DD is not too sore.

I only just removed one of my friends names from my mobile and she died 2 years ago, felt like I was deleting her somehow.

Caught up again, I can't believe how fast this thread goes sometimes. DS1 has his last AS exam tomorrow, I am so relieved, he has been doing his Further Maths A level independently (in school but not in a class). For various reasons he started this week knowing he had an exam on Friday but had not even started being taught the particular module. I knew it was going to be a nightmare of a week, that he would have at least a day when he didn't get it at all. He has been the only Y12 left in school as the others have finished their exams, he has really struggled, but today it seems to have clicked, he has done a couple of past papers and managed to get an A in 4 days of learning the topic. I know the final result depends on what questions he gets tomorrow but after how he felt yesterday I am so proud of his efforts this week, like I have said to him, it shows what we are capable of with hard work.

    One proud mum!!!

And so you should be - he sounds like a great kid
