Neosi - I used to get terrible sinus problems, I then hit on the fact that I was longing for a hot bath each time and it helped, so I got hold of a facial steamer and had a steam every time it started, often with a little oil of eucalyptus. It works wonders (it did for me anyway), definitely worth a try, even if it is boiling water in a bowl and tea towel over head. Also have taken to using the cheap decongestants from Mr T as soon as it starts now, but steaming definitely made it a lot less like being crushed in a vice!

Like yourself & Nikkilala I have a facial steamer I usually use plain water but I do have a little pot of Menthol crystals which you can get in most independant chemists you just need to ask £1 or £2 only need a tiny amount half the size of your little finger nail in a sink of boiling water with a towel over your head , they are a bit strong to use in the facial steamer.

FK - You're far too hard on yourself!! I'd say you've been doing fantastically with wombling!!!!!! Annoying A's didn't have what you want and you had to travel further afield but with a saving like that, sure you could stretch to the fuel costs ;):D Well done you! :)

Rootednomad- :rotfl::TFabulous idea! Thank you so much for the APG info, my new address will be the A's address :T:D

Call of Trouty - :( Ouch!!!!!!!!! :(:( Poor you, do take yourself back to the docs if it isn't better, you don't want to go all weekend if it's not getting better. Hope everything's coming along smoothly with the patio :T Also thank you for the APG info. I'm not sure how you're overriding it but it won't let me print a voucher if I don't input an address.

    Enterprise - :A Thank you :A

    blondy - :kisses2:Spicy idea, I like it....a lot! :D Hope you and hubby have a wonderful '1st date' ;););););)

josie_ann - Wishing you the BEST of luck with the outlaws, hope you'll be rewarding yourself with copious amounts of bubbly at your DD's wedding :D and thank you :A

Nikki - :o:o:o:o:o:o Really?! I don't see myself like that at all so thank you for being so kind :A :T Go you on your whoopsie haul. After 3 days break, I think I might wander down A's tonight and see if I can spot a friendly face with the whoopsie gun ;):rotfl:

Bestie - :A Thank you :Axxxxxxxxxxxxx

QPR - Thank you so much for the advice re: Effipro, that's really helpful :T It's all so confuding what with them all having the same asctive ingredient in the same dosage yet all have very mixed reviews!

neosi - Sending big cuddles. Hope your face is feeling much kore your own very soon, it really is such a horrible feeling. I agree with the steaming and especially with Eucalyptus or as you've been using Olbas Oil. The one thing I find is a constant help is a smelling salts bottle. It's quite expensive for what it is (around £5) but it's instant relief for me and something I can carry around :)

Tiger - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:You make me laugh so much with your stories of munching at your desk! :T:D Go for it I say! Awww Henry is such a cute name! Thank you for your kind words :A And fab news about dwell, did you spend your 1st voucher or have they just extended the deadline?

AMMat158 - :T Fab news about your DD receiving her RLD voucher :T

LTF - Keep going :T Hope all's going well with your exam prep and revision :)

cattysmum - Congrats on your freeeeedom! :j

HC - :( I migt be tiny but huge cuddles coming your way :A Really hope your headache subsides. Are you taking any meds?

mharzuk - Hope you plan on getting your own back ;);):p:rotfl:

Its not often I am moved by things but the tears and snot are dripping off my chin after watching that, thank you for finding it :)

    You're absolutely welcome! :D

    I mean wow....just WOW!!!!!!!!!!! :j

My cousin linked the first one I posted on facebook and it came up with related vids at the side of the best marriage proposal ever. The highest viewed one was great but this is the 2nd highest viewed and IMO just incredible. I know that love shouldn't be about anything showy/flashy but how could you not be bowled over by someone willing to go to such lengths to show their love to you?! The time he must have spent organising it!!!!!!

Supposed to be cooking a big family roast (2 joint Lala today;)both whoopsied of course:rotfl:) for Nannylalas birthday dinner but no hot water and the mans here trying to fix the boiler and is threatening to turn the gas off for a while:eek::eek::eek::eek:Just got back from T' & A's, got more Wenches,Cakes, Water all with vouchers and found the car wipe thingies for 18p (Will post piccie later) did all my shopping in A's with wombled APG vouchers:T:T:TWent round the corner in T's and bumped into QPR who funnily enough had a trolley that looked just like mine;);)

We were only supposed to be going to the bank but have to pass that particular Mr T's. It was nice that Mummy Ranger got to meet Nikkilala (shame Nannylala wasn't there) as I think she thought I kept going off to meet a man :rotfl:Mummy agreed Lala is not a man then they both started talking about transvestites  anyway got some blue maggots & then we met a neighbour, also in Mr T's, well his house/garden backs onto ours but is in the next road so it was nice to chat instead of just waving as we drive past, turns out he has the same birthday as me. He was a little confused by the contents of our trolley especially the windowledge greenhouses which are going to be Christmas presents for the little nephews, its only May he remarked.

He said something that really made me & my Mum well up, he moved here 50 years ago from Jamaica & remembers my Grandad very fondly as he was the first person he spoke to when he moved in, Grandad told him "I just live over there is there's ever anything you need or or anything you want to know come & see me" Grandad died 20 years ago but thats still made me have tears in my eyes.

The bank visit has now been postponed till tomorrow

I just walked round WHSmith (B*rehamw**d) No sign of this free £5 extra on a gift voucher. Searched by the gift vouchers, the cards, signs around the store, in the window. Nothing :(

At the entrance to my local store they have lots of special offers for the Jubilee. My DS spotted multi pack of Skips for 62p which we thought was a great price for 15 packets. They went through SS at £2.99 so I sent DS off to check and he came back and shouted definitely 62p, will we get DTD!! I told him to be quiet and run and get another packet!!

So off we go to CS. The CSA went brought a pack back and scanned it and it was 62p. Both packs had 15 packets. She thought they were the same but I noticed that the ones we bought (and the shelf was packed with these) were 15 for price of 12, whereas her ones were 10 plus 50% free which must have been the ones on offer.

She said she'd refund the money and we could keep the crisps. I said should it not be DTD and of course she came up will silly excuses, not technically an overcharge, blah, blah but I said I had been overcharged. She said well if that's what you want (yes please) it'll take a while. Then DS pipes up, are we going to get money!! Got DTD in the end but she wasn't happy.

So I've got a mini DTDer but a little more training in subtlety needed!!
