  • Hi all

Just a quick post and will have to catch up later.

Did a glitch run with the sil to T's C*ulby N*wham this lunch time but very disappointing. No Socks, no Marmalade, no Blue Maggots.

All the disposable party tablewear is rtc and I got plates and napkins and table covers for ds and dd birthdays in July. Plates and napkins ranged from 44p to 75p and the table cover was 66p. Cupcake themed for dd and Animal from the Muppets for ds.

I also found Palanquin Spiced Tea bags dated 2014 rtc to 44p so got some form my xmas hampers. Found in the international foods not the tea / coffee isle.

Lots of price flop leaftlets in the entrance but no magazines.

    Laters :)

Slipped into T'S this morning to cash in some electrical double ups before I go on holiday at the weekend.

Spotted some packs of Westlandf Lawn Feed/Weed and Moss killer 5 in 1 formula covering 180 sq m (these are big blue/mauve/green boxes with whit plastic handles) for the bargain price of £2.49 ! I was pretty certain this was wrong as there were smaller packs of the same stuff on the shelf above - for around £7 odd!)

Got 4 boxes plus some plant labels to take me over £10 and doubled up a £5 voucher for Gardening as well as £20 for my electrical stuff. And the Westland packs went through at £9.97. The price was on an ordinary white SEL, no date that I could see and plenty of packs on the shelf so could be nationwide.

DTD given with no hassle at all - £56 odd back. Delighted as my whole shop only came to just over £30 including a slow cooker, a big toaster and a few groceries. Was able to use a £6 and £4 off coupon from the Mailings and, even allowing for the value of my CC vouchers that I doubled up, I reckon I was paid a £ or so to take it all away.

HC got picked on at school then dad said the worst thing you could say to someone with Autism "just hit them" - and I did! I've always been 6ft 3 and built like the back end of a bus so when I hit them I hit them hard. One cheeky wee poo ran in to a portacabin classroom and I went after him, he thought he'd would be safe on the other side of some desks. The look on his face as I flipped the desks out of way with ease was unreal. I think he actually crapped himself.:rotfl::rotfl:
I'm not condoning violence but that's funny :rotfl: Your strength HC makes me imagine the Incredible Hulk turning the desks over :rotfl:

    Morning All,

    Hope alls ok with everyone

Neosi - I used to get terrible sinus problems, I then hit on the fact that I was longing for a hot bath each time and it helped, so I got hold of a facial steamer and had a steam every time it started, often with a little oil of eucalyptus. It works wonders (it did for me anyway), definitely worth a try, even if it is boiling water in a bowl and tea towel over head. Also have taken to using the cheap decongestants from Mr T as soon as it starts now, but steaming definitely made it a lot less like being crushed in a vice!

Morning all Carling just arrived - so pleased Thanks OP:beer::beer::beer:

I have just been looking at the price flop and if you buy two of each
    Birdseye currys T £3.00 A £2.00
    southern fried chicken T £3.04 A £2.00

you can use (hopefully) £1 off £5 birdsye, £1 off £3 ready meals
£1 off £3 sausage and burgers

So should give you £6.04 minus £3 in coupons and £2.04 JTD so should work out at 96p !!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, looks like i know what i will be topping up with.

    (
Glad you got your carling. And thanks for working out the above, I'll be stocking up on that, great prices :T

    After all

I put the answer as milk chocolate, but I now believe that was actually the wrong answer and it should be hazelnut. However I didn't win, so if milk chocolate has been entered by someone and they did win, then the correct answer must be irrelevant and its just random
    The end is nigh
