So while we all wonder wot Henlans has been up to (is he going to be on Hoarders)
What happened to the poster who said something had happened and it was a big secret and she couldn't tell in case the press found out.
But she was going to post after it had happened what it was.
Did she post back.0 -

OH says it is a nice beer, you may be lucky and there may be more stock by the time of your order so they may be able to send you out more. ALTHOUGH my gut feeling is these were never meant to be advertised as case of 20s and were actually cases of 6 all along seeing as the bottles are 750mls.
I would be interested to know how much a single bottle is in store as see from some reviews they are offered as part of the meal deal. Not sure whether just the one bottle or more though.
 at OH. I was so excited to tell him I'd got him free beer. The way he's behaving you'd think I'd stolen it! He said he hoped it wasn't ordered in his name - no, but it was paid with a joint credit card. He's not going to drink it in case they look for it back - I think it'd choke him if he did!!0 -

i wouldve been embarressed to show that stash. we all did well out of dtd, but some people took the mikey. helen and her "brother" come into that catogory
I was in awe of Henlan's stash, but I wouldn't have posted it, I would have stayed quietly very very smug and under the radar! So many people must have viewed it, and I think he posted about how many times a day he did it (if I recall, I think the scheme allowed 1, but I may be wrong). I'm sure if Tesco really wanted to pursue it, they could have. But that would have attracted some bad publicity, as it was their hair-brained, half thought out scheme in the first place (for which I was very grateful :money:at the time).0 -

Agreed!
Today, I was in Sainsbob's  and the lady in front of me had done a shop totaling £29.97. She had a £6 off £30 spend MOC in her hand and said to the SA 'Oh I'm 3p short for using this....oh well'.
The SA gave a smirky smile which kinda said 'tough luck'.
So I said 'hang on'.
I went to grab some basics chocolate dessert mix for 10p and chucked it at the SA. Lady looked at me, smiled and said 'thank you'. :A:cool::A
BOOM! £5.90 off her shop.
Job done.
well done:T put sa in her place..0 -

My son is 14 and needs new clothes, he has had a growth spurt in the last couple of months. Age 15 from Next fits him perfectly, can only order from Next online as they don't stock age 15 in their stores.
M&S are hit and miss for his size, some fit, some don't.
Debenhams stock up to age 16 but limited choice in store so again means buying online. Would rather buy in store as then he can try them on and save me the fuss of having to send them back if they not fit or he not like them. T shirts, shorts and hoodies I can buy in sports shops but the choice is not that great. Am struggling with the basics such as pj's, underwear etc.
Have looked in Holister as seems to be the trendy shop for teens, but so expensive especially as he will probably not get much wear out of them before he has another growing spurt.
Seems he is between children's sizes and adults sizes. I can not remember having the same problem with my older son.
Please can anyone suggest where else I can look for clothes for him.
Been a problem for us too till we discovered Topman do an XS and it's one of those sizes often found on the sale rail0 -

They look quite nice actually
This takeaway pizza and 2 sides for £6 ends today - pity that the price flop takeaway pizza MOC does not start yet - or it might if someone finds a forgotten SEL“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
