Good afternoon you lot... hope everyone's well on this beautiful day...

I hope both weddings go well... lots of love and good health to you all...

Sat out in the sun, enjoying the last few days of it before the rain comes once again :mad::mad::mad:

Anyway you lot, Ive never ever done the double up vouchers, but I feel like Id like to try it to see how things go... I was thinking about buying a charcoal bbq... I binned ours last autumn because it had seen better days... we do have a gas one, but I dont see a point in gas bbq's myself... PLUS I find the taste isnt the same as a charcoal one.. I need something to use all this bbq meat I got free from T's.. (Thank you T's) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

A few questions I have to ask is..

Is it better to convert instore than online?

Can I use both converted online and instore?

Has any of you had any issues that stops you doing it this time??

Ive read the thread regarding the double up vouchers, but there's nothing better than confiding in people I know.. :A:A

If I am buying in store I go and check the price of the item I want (and check it is in stock!!) then go an convert. They ask if you want to use the vouchers online or in store.

If I was going to spend them online I would check it doesn't say out of stock then I would probably convert them online unless I was going to T's anyway in which case I would convert them there because it seems to be quicker!

Agree with you about barbecues, can't be doing with the gas ones myself (besides which would probably be nicked when the "travellers" reappear ), far prefer the taste of meat [STRIKE]cremated[/STRIKE] cooked over charcoal!

If I double up £10 instore to £20, could I use that to buy something for £19.97, plus buy some groceries and use a £5 off £40 coupon?
  • Afternoon all :)

Beautiful sunny day here in the 'Sneck  DD and I have been out and about most of the day :D It's been great, and she's now chilling on the couch while I catch up ;)

Congrats to Toni hope everyone has a brilliant day
Thanks to JumbleJacks post about the bacon, I'm tempted to take a quick walk to Lidl to see if they have any of the XXL packs here :) No T's for me today, OH is away, though I might have to go in the morning to use up a couple of the Price Flops before they expire.

They will only double up in £5 denominations so as your sister has £7 they will double up the fiver to give you £10 then put the other £2 back on the clubcard it came from.

If you convert them instore you get a till spits that you give to the SA on the till when you purchase your product.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

No, you'll get them there and then, they just print off a voucher for you :)

They only double up in multiples of £5, so you wouldn't be able to double up £7.

If you're doubling up your sisters vouchers I think you may need her Clubcard as well, I know when I doubled up one of mine they checked to see if they matched. Although I'm sure it'll vary from store to store ;)

ETA: Beaten to it, too slow as usual :rotfl:

When I got two double ups (2 x £5) should have spent £20 on cat food category and I had miscalculated by a couple of pence. It took the first £10 coupon but wouldnt take the second - it said on till 'customer has not spent enough' or words to that effect, so I had to run back to the cat food aisle and grab a cheap tray of carp cat food.

What you have to do is spend £20 on the category you have changed for. There would be no problem combining this with the £5 off £40 if you spend £40.
