Nay....had a quick visit to Ga11onions R34ch and got some Multibuy Glitch on BBQ but then had to cast off and take care of plundering de Book le Face.

I be easy to spot, the beard, eye patch, hook, peg leg and parrot on me shoulder make it hard for me to be incognito......

Here be a life size portrait of me......

I realise it be bad taste to quote thyself, but I wanted to add that I don't think the artist captured the "essence" of the Cap'n, and there be no doubt that the picture above be of me bad side...

welcoming the weekend with prosecco! Had a fantastic whoopsie session at Waitrose ... after buying a bit more prosecco with JTD *hic!* ...including 24 packs of free sliced ham! and yes, I did share with lots of other people- there were bazillions of packs :T:T:T

DH (Lomcevak) is worried about Goodwood, as he is not confident in purple tights...

On other fronts- glad MMW and Cattysmum are on the road to a full recovery-

    Here's to a great weekend! :j

Finally caught up with you all :j:j

I have had a brilliant week at home with my family and to be honest have been lurking quite a bit as just didn't have the time to post as loads of things arranged for this week - also DD managed to stand on her laptop :mad::mad: so she has been using mine for most of the week.

I would like to say a big Thank You to West is Best - received a phone call from her when on the coach on the way back from London on Wednesday to tell me about the BBq meat, so called into an Extra in Bristol once i had picked my car up after getting off the coach and got loads!!! i had to ring my neighbour and ask if we could put some in her freezer as ours was chocka block - no probs as she had bought a new one that day and said we can put in what ever we wanted - so went halfs with her on everything as it didn't cost me anything:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and without her help we couldn't have had any at all.

I met the lovely Barksavingmad this afternoon, its so good to find someone else in my neck of the woods - so looking forward to doing a shop together in a couple of weeks - could be a completely mad experience (hopefully).

I managed to find one box of the petal shaped boxes of chocs this afternoon bc 2950 - its a pale pink metallic finish in the shape of a flower petal made by T's. And very nice they taste too:):)

Has anyone that asked me for the info on the clinical trial done anything about it? as OH went up for first part on wednesday and was curious to know if anybody from here would be joining him if he is successful?

I've just been looking at the odds online William Hill 14-1 Ireland or UK to win.

I really don't think even though Englebert Humperdink, born in India lives mostly in USA claims to be a proud English lad now touting for votes wrapped in German flag because his Mum Is from Germany, stands a chance.

I don't even understand the odds on Paddy Power
    Ireland v UK

    Ireland 1/3 UK 2/1

    Anyway good luck my boys

You have got to love jedward :T They just make me laugh, especially when they went cartwheeling down to the stage when they got through the semifinals, when everyone else walked down to the stage in a very civilised manner :rotfl:
I have an each way bet on ireland, romania, UK and the russian granny's. My favourite is swedens song but the odds were 11/8 and i only bet small so wouldn't really have been worth it.
((Now just have to hope i have worked out how to multiquote QPR10 and Nikkilala))
