I have kept myself away after their treatment. Took your advise and phoned CS, they didn't do much. Just phoned the store and give me ref number:(.

Lindos, Regarding the jam and Shef*d store. I wouldn't bother its a really small store and I've never seen that variety in there. They only have a tiny range of products. Anyway to many lurkers here, even if they had some it would have been cleared by now.

hi all,

i went to 3 stores. I got 6 packs of belly pork in LE" Va444y.
:beer: no other packs.

in 2nd store picked up 10 packs but got trouted. She realised that bogof wasn't going through. Said i couldn't wait around to sort out issue and left them there.

3rd store has some but my least favourite sa are there. so didn't bother.

i didn't find coffee but found 4p socks and some kosher marmalade.

we love the bbq packs so quite happy.

i would email as well, uncle philips email address is on the 1st page of the thread

usually you get a better response, ensure you say how upsetting the whole experience was, if you have never done a dtd in that store before they have no grounds to accuse you of whatever they did.....not sure exactly what they said or accused you of but personally if it was me i would call it slander (unfortunately i'm not usually innocent;););)) say how anxiety stricken you are to go in that store and walk past the same staff. I would demand an apology and explanation, video and any other evidence to back up their !!!! and bull stories. Nothing less than a personal apology from the store manager and further training for the CS staff. hopefully you might get a bit of compensation too but i wouldn't let that SA get away with reducing you to tears. Not on!

By the way you need a thick skin if you are going to attempt a DTD. If they say no personally I have learnt as FK also advises not to push it. Once or twice I have wanted to show them who was right but tbh they are more likely to remember your face for next time if you do that. Keep the item and ring CS later. Never accept a refund there and then, never offer to let them resell it at the offer price. Ensure you personally go back with CS to SEL, ensure you make a mental note of her name and also the manager who usually comes down if needed.

OMG! Just had a complete nightmare! Went to T's this avo and grabbed myself a few boxes of cheap Cheerios that had been whoopsied down coz the boxes were damaged.

Anyway, got home and went up to my stash in the loft, and to my horror it was baking :eek:. My 1p Thorntons egg that I had been saving until post Weight-Watchers was completely melted .
Why did I not think about this before. Has been lovely and cold up there over the winter:o

Hey-ho, have now re-located all food-related items to the kids bedroom (under the beds and on top of the wardrobe lol)
