    Urgghhhh!
Decided that the delivery I was expecting wasn't going to turn up so I decided to dye my hair. Yep! Knock on the door and it's the delivery man. I said you've probably seen everything on your rounds haven't you? And he said, I have, but in thirteen years I've never seen anyone wearing a Tesco bag on her head! Well, he has now!!!!

I still treasure the moment when one of the family a few doors down who are the bane of my life re parking & many other things answered the door to a delivery man wearing a Tesco carrier bag on her head (made me grin even more realising she colours her hair) Tesco isn't the only place she shops but its always a Tesco bag :)

My first ever Tesco home delivery arrived today.

Used quidco and ecoupons - including £10 off first shop.

Couldn't get the coupons that come with the clubcard vouchers to be accepted or the (Asda) price check voucher. The driver didn't seem to know what to do with them, so I didn't give them to him in case they disappeared for ever.

wish i could join you all at Goodwood but to far away and I dont travel only left Wales twice in the last 20 years:eek:
did get the free tickets and sent to my sister who is going with her family. I will tell her to look for a rowdy mob wearing purple tights eating 1p easter eggs and supping dtd wine :rotfl:

Thats a shame, is this because of ill health or funds or are you just a little bit scared.

An older friend of mine won't travel on her own only to the nearest town & doesn't drive anymore.

The best thing I ever did was learn to drive if no one will come with me I just jump in the car & go on my own but am extra cautious & aware of my safety

The DTD on the BBQ items, are these frozen or in the fridge?

    Thanks.

just back from a great shop, found the coffee marked up at 87p on a white sel, took 6 jars, lots left, also got dtd on 2 packs of the BBQ peppered steaks and 2 packs of the chinese style pork steaks, could have got lots of different ones as they were nearly all stickered with BOGOF,but my nemesis was on the customer service desk so didnt want to draw too much attention to myself, there was another lady there innocently getting dtd on them too, so the game is over on the BBQ stuff at CHEST***IELD as they were getting someone to sort out the problem:(

Thanks for the heads up, might get some coffee, but will know not to try the BBQ stuff :money:

it might still be worth a look if you are going anyway, but i would think they will have removed the ones with stickers
  • I was looking for the 87p coffee this morning when I found some coffee that was even better value.

150g REFILL bags of Nescafe Gold Blend at £1.12.:think:

There were 300g bags of the same coffee right next to it with a sel for £8.00 so it looks like the 150g bags are quite a bargain.

Maybe pick some up when you go looking for the bbq meat!!

Hi everybody I hope you are well and have enjoyed this lovely day. don't think I will be shopping today. my lovely sis posted me some price flop vouchers so will have to look at those later and work out what I need.
I don't think the heat today has really helped my concentration. I might be back later asking questions.
I hope you all enjoy your evening
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.
