Good morning everyone, day off, so not as early online as usual!

Workmen are out somewhere, disturbing the peace with an angle grinder :(

Otherwise a very beautiful day up north, and just right for painting my front door, then that'll be another DIY job on this years list ticked off :)

Hopefully Blend37 at mine, but as other eliters haven't found it, not holding out much hope!

Got all excited over JJ's bacon post.......... then realised it was for Lidl's :( lol

Drink the vodka and gin in moderation MMW, you've still to get to the hospital! Hope you'll be back home soon after the op.

Have a very good day everyone

I went to the Guns N Roses gig on Sunday at Liverpool, it was fantastic, really enjoyed it:D Thanks again Call of Trouty or I'd have missed out! I got 4 tickets so took my OH and my tenants:eek:(It is also my nephew and his GF;)). Only complaint was that the doors opened at 6.30....Thin Lizzy came on about 8-9ish....GNR came on at 11pm till 2am!!!!!:eek: They played a set of 30 tracks if you include the solo instrumentals but it was really, really good:D

It was only the 2nd night out we've had since having my LO almost 8 months ago, hope the grandparents won't refuse to baby sit next time after we arrived home at 2.30am haha

Well it looks like its Plan C now or is it Plan D. was going to stay in Brum one night, then decided to make it two, then the family said they were going away that weekend so I thought I'll just go to the concert & drive back, now I've been told I'm not allowed to drive back at that time of night. Decisions decisions.

    Poor grandparents :rotfl:

    Morning all!

Well it's a big day for me today.

I have my Portfolio Exit interview later this afternoon and it is officially my last day of medical school!

I need to be 'signed off' for my portfolio to graduate; if not then :(, but if I get signed off then :D.

    Time will tell I guess.

Don't know why we bother though, Eastern Europe will already have decided who is going to win!

Lala, rubber plant & bath mat ♥

I will never forget that day and was so proud of my daughter Lala for walking away from what would have only been a terrible life.As always(thinking about other people) all she could say to me and my DH was I am so sorry you wasted so much money on my wedding:oWe told her at the time it takes a braver woman to walk away than stay and suffer in silence.

On a lighter note it is a beautiful sunny morning hope you all have a share of the sunshine :)

MMW hope all goes well for you today ......
