Morning RN, just read back and it looks like a trip to the local to see if I can find the Blend 37 coffee. That it something we actually need at the moment.

Hang on a min. Just doing a list of wine offers ended yesterday which could mean free wine if sels not changed - may be good for you if you are going in so early? I would also like to nab some of the Blend 37 if there is any around :)

The offers this weekend are now revealed by granary roll on the shopping thread:

It's another Brekkie offer for the weekend of 26th-27th May.

Glenview farm Unsmoked rindless back bacon rashers 250g was £1.29 now 64p

Branston Baked Beans 4 pk was £2 now £1

Fresh Vine Tomatoes Loose was £1.99 per kg now 99p per kg

Looks like I will get 8 of the bacon this weekend! I had 8 mince last weekend and 8 frying steak the weekend before (I hit 2 Lidls in a round trip!). Handy to chuck in the freezer. I LOVE these deals. I never seem to time the chilled reductions successfully so these serve me very well indeed... And they are FRESH!:j

Going to buy my purple I.D tights in the morning.

Think you have just nominated yourself as 11+ Good(ie)Wood coordinator.

Tell us what to bring and Mr T will provide, glitch willing.

    Regards to Mr 3 Dogs.

It certainly is. Would any of us go on a day we had to pay for?

The Elite Team for Goodwood FOS Thursday 28th June:

    3Dogs, Mr 3Dogs + 2 MSE friends
    Laura Cello + Lomcevac + Grandpa + DS1
    FK + 1 harem
    Kymie
    Wendyak + Oh + 2
    Frequent + 3
    Wendy

    Any more?

OOOh how exciting!! We haven't been for a few years, but the parking has always been free and is EXCELLENT if you have a blue badge (3Dogs). I would recommend a picnic- sandwiches and water- whatever is easy to carry. Most of the stalls were sort of Veuve Cliquot (ignore spelling!!) breakfast for £25...

...so where do I find purple tights??? :rotfl:(no really, I don't have a clue about the tights :o)

    JJ's leftover rice burgers:

    photo-82.jpg?t=1337750772

I'm trying to get to the weekend without buying more cereal! I had leftover rice from last nights tea in the fridge. Experimentation time whilst the family snooze!;)

Simply break an egg into a cup, add leftover rice to form a sticky mound. Season to taste and shallow fry!

Would go great with fried mushrooms or a poached egg on top. Or simply as a addition to a meal!

    Pleased with the experiment!:j

I might fry up a batch of these and freeze them. They would make a great addition to my freezer stocks for meal standbys!

    Edit:
You only need one for breakfast! They are REALLY filling. Insanely cheap meal if you just have one topped with an egg, etc!;)
