We haven't had such a good day today :( When Alan was getting ready about 11.30am before we went to see his Dad and sister, he felt awful, that shaking and feeling rotten thing he's had twice before. I told him to get back into bed and have a rest, to see if he felt ok later. When I woke him at 2pm, he still felt shakey but was hungry so he got up and had a large Tosco Cornish Pasty and a little danish pastry, but there was no way he was going out today, so he went back to bed

I went out later to visit Mam for her tea-time. She was ok and ate fine, but seeing lots of things and people I wasn't seeing ;) She was asking how the lady 'up there' had got in as there was no hole in the ceiling, and I told her she must have come in the window or the door, but she said no, I've been watching the door and the window is closed ..... she's not daft you know ;) She was smiling when I left and seemed happy enough, all things considered

I called to Tosco on my way back so didn't get back till about 7.30pm and Alan was still in bed, but he got up then and we had some tea of venison grill burgers whoopied 90p with McCain Wedges on offer at Tosco for 90p less 50p moc, followed by ice cream bought with Price Flop moc

Alan was still exhausted though so went back to bed straight afterwards. It is hard for him as he is exhausted all the time but not in any pain, well just some discomfort. He tried to lift up both arms and they just flopped down :( Going up and down the stairs is really getting to him too :( We live in a bungalow at home, so he is finding the stairs hard. Mind you so am I, as we got the bungalow through the council due to my lack of mobility, and I am going up the stairs on all fours and coming down one step at a time :(

My sister comes back off holiday on Friday and we will then move into my niece's house to look after that while they are away, and at least they have a downstairs loo ;) I would think that Alan would be better there just lying on the settee during the day if he needs to sleep and I will just stay in the kitchen diner area. That way he will only need to use the stairs morning and night

The other problem is the shower. I struggle but can manage to use the over-bath shower but Alan can't climb in/out so has just been strip washing at the basin. Tomorrow morning we are getting up fairly early and going up to my Mam's/brother's house and Alan can get a shower there before we go down about noon to see his Dad and Sister, hopefully. Mam has a stairlift and a wet room so Alan will be ok there, and I'm sure that he will feel better after a nice shower
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(

:eek:Imagine opening the "Mr and Mrs" card and it being addressed to your ex.. funny but not for her new hubby :rotfl:
Well done to your friend for saving the situation!! Don't forget to use your 50p off coupon if your card is from T :rotfl:

I went to a wedding once and the Best Man said the Grooms ex's name in his speech!!!:rotfl::rotfl:When he realised he went bright red and then pretended it was an intentional joke...it clearly wasn't!!!!

I went to the Guns N Roses gig on Sunday at Liverpool, it was fantastic, really enjoyed it:D Thanks again Call of Trouty or I'd have missed out! I got 4 tickets so took my OH and my tenants:eek:(It is also my nephew and his GF;)). Only complaint was that the doors opened at 6.30....Thin Lizzy came on about 8-9ish....GNR came on at 11pm till 2am!!!!!:eek: They played a set of 30 tracks if you include the solo instrumentals but it was really, really good:D

It was only the 2nd night out we've had since having my LO almost 8 months ago, hope the grandparents won't refuse to baby sit next time after we arrived home at 2.30am haha

OB I think most of us learn the hard way on here and let something upset us that in the "life" wouldnt normally(it happened to me too:o) but as long as we learn from it and move on it's just a learning curve;) And by the way that no smoking time is certainly adding up for you now:T:T:T:T
Thank you; you are all so sweet. :o

Nikki, no smoking is going fine. Never going back now. :D
