    Morning everyone.

I just wanted to break from lurkdom to send lots of love to 3Dogs and Alan. I read your posts and they always make me cry. You truly are a remarkable person 3Dogs and your strength, kindness and courage shines through in every post.

And to rhosynbach's daughter all i can say is :A

My dad died of cancer at the end of march after a very brave fight and i miss him more with everyday that passes :(

Haven't posted for a very long time because i haven't been able to go to large T's to look for glitches for obvious reasons but i did go to my local express and found lots of lindt bunnies at the till in the bottom display tray, after confirming with SA that they were in fact 1p, i took 15 :j
The SA was craning her neck to see if there were any more. But i scooped up all the rest along with the slightly battered lindt lindor eggs and gave them to the elderly man behind me in the queue, who was nearly falling on top of me to see if there were any more. He couldn't believe the price and couldn't thank me enough. The SA looked a bit  though when i left as i could hear the elderly man telling her quite a few times how much he loved chocolate :)

am soooo tired this morning, didnt sleep well as toe was giving me grieve last night. i got up and sat in the garden, the birds were singing beautifully. there was a hedgehog i the garden eating the slugs/snails. my big brave [STRIKE]stupid[/STRIKE] cat didnt know what to do with that. he sniffed mr h and got a bit too close and shook his head, then patted mr h, that hurt his paw !! my cat then looked at me as if to say "mum , what am i meant to do with this? i cant kill it,eat it, or play with it. but its in MY garden"
so i spent the next 30 min or so watching my cat stalk a hedghog around the garden. they have such lovely little toes and pretty little faces.

    2000 posts Whoo hoo!! :j:j:j

    Thank you :)
coffee milk and 1 sugar, with posh (free) biscuits please. ta.

Can do posh coffee from my coffee machine but I missed out on free posh biscuits, think Wool27 beat me to it. :rotfl:

Can do Maryland cookies or value rich tea, but if you prefer aren't Vienesse Whirls just a posh biscuit. ;)

Thanks to the OP for reminding me the offer is finishing on the whirls today. Already been to Ts, nice new clip strip of drumsticks but could not see the football Haribos.

Another find over the weekend I forgot to post is black wash baskets 49p, they were 99p in the week down from £1.99, glad I waited. Would be good for storing stashes in, cheaper than the folding crates. Loads at FB and CL for any locals. :)

Tesco compare to asda and if asda would have been cheaper tesco will give you voucher for just the difference (jtd) you have to put your receipt in the tesco price checker to find out.
The jtd is also calculated before using coupons in tesco.

I'm just learning and think I'm going to join the jtd clan!

Make sure you only buy stuff that you know are cheaper in Asda, split your shopping if need be.
It works best if you can use coupons too.

    Example:
    2 x 6 pk Cornetto = £5.18 ( 2 for £3 in A's)
    1 x 6pk Ribena lollies = 85p ( n/a )
    =£6.03 - £2 price flop coupon = £4.03
    jtd £2.18
    Total £1.85

    Hth

The roaster chicken is a good one too as mentioned earlier. £5 in T's - £2.52 in A's

Wanted to say thanks to whoever mentioned that Ts own Chocolatinos were a good buy with the price flops. Got 4 different flavours so 12 icecreams for £2 and no worrying about getting a price check back. :T
  • Does anyone know what the best icecreams/lollies are to top up the 2 packs of Cornettos to £6 for JTD? TIA x

MMW - lovely story about the Hedgehog. Used to spend ages watching them in my grandfathers garden (was meant to be asleep!!), they make a really funny noise too.

You will be glad to see the end of the pain from the toe, and I guess you will get used to the lack of the toe in the end. The light is sitting there at the end of the tunnel, you just have to get there!

I just got my My Deco £50 tea towels that I bought for the sun total of £2.96 - I only ordered them on Friday! Can't even check they only took the £2.96 yet because it's not on my online credit card statement yet! REally well wrapped too, in big jiffy bag, but also wrapped in MyDeco tissue paper, which means I can't open it because my son's fiancee would be really impressed with it like that!!
