When should I pay my bills?

I currently get paid at the end of each month, my bills for the following month are then paid on the 1st.... Is this a good way to have my bills set up as for some I have until the 30th of the month to pay should I change my direct debits to the end of the month just after my pay day and they pay for what is due or continue to pay at the start of the month????
Im only asking because if I set up my bills to pay them at the end of june instead of the start the money I would have not paid out yet could be used to pay off my overdraft and then when I get paid at the end of June I will be able to pay the bills due.
I hope this makes sense
Thanks for you replys in advance :j

I pay all my bills on the 1st. That way, I know exactly how much I have left for the month - great for budgeting.0

I pay all of mine on the 28th. (If you were to do that then you would save a month on the first payment that would have been due on the 30th)
I certainly wouldn't pay a month in advance (again Im referring to the one due on the 30th)0 -
I would still have the rest of my money left to last me the new month like you wahoo_postingib I would just in theory not be infront with my payments. Thats what I was thinking nibs, but I can help but wonder if it would put me at a disadvantage in anyway?0

Whatever you do, just make sure there is always the money to pay them!0

I get paid on the 26th, bills go out 27th.. I know exactly what I'm left with then until payday
simples.
My parents on the other hand have like 10 direct debits all at different times through the month... that would irritate me!0
