I was about to request a free experian report before applying for a barclaycard and thought...
Will this mark my file at all - making it less (or more?) likely I would be accepted?
Banks love to know every seemingly pointless bit of information they can get their hands on and as a software developer myself I would log every time a database is read as well as modified - so why wouldn't a credit check company do this too and include is in the metric they return to the banks?
