I think almost any of those would work RI shoes are always comfy I find too, for some reason.

Thanks, lots of options to choose from there and I like the River Island ones. I don't really like ones with ankle straps or anything else crossing the foot though. I don't know if its just me but I think they make my legs look shorter and I have quite long legs so its not normally a problem.

I know exactly what you mean, I just wonder if that is too safe an option and the guests will be mainly young so I don't want to look frumpy.

Yes, it does go really well in that picture.

I don't normally do red though, but worth thinking about.

I'd go with sling backs then they make the legs look longest.
