Mortgage arrears and receiver fees

To cut an extremely long story short I had 3 buy to let mortgages that were in arrears. They were transferred to a receivers but I paid the arrears in full and the appointment was cancelled.

Subsequently I have been charged by the Bank (several thousands) in relation to the solicitors fees and this has put me massively in arrears again.

Is this right? I was lead to believe that the charges would be added to my mortgages but not put me back in arrears.

Can anyone help?

    There's no right have to fees capitalised by adding them to the mortgage balance. The lender has the right to demand immediate payment of the fess.
