Work program - others experiance?

I have been refered to the work program and the staff at the Job Centre are making it out be a truly dreadful experiance. I didn't feel too bad until I realised that my "insight" interview may be part of a group thing and that if the rest of the group are like those in the Job Centre yesterday (time for signing on changed) god help me. Lets just say they had limited vocabulary and it offended my ears.
Can anyone offer me any clues as to what is likely to happen and if it is really as awful as they make out.

Insight/Boost is what the provider calls the first stage of the work program - it last for about 16 weeks and is made up of 1:1 making sure you have a CV/cover letter, workshops (interview skills etc) and basically loads of applications. If you have long term barriers then they will pase you to the engage phase where your advisor will worok with you slightly differently to help you obtain employment.

    Hope that helps!:)
