I have tried that suggestion and still cant get the crossword link to work, still getting silly noise, whats going on????
When you get the "silly noise", does the page with the blank crossword on it then load?

If so, then it sounds as if you have a pop up blocker active on your computer. This would cause the "silly noise" as when you complete the crossword and press "Submit" (or click on the completed crossword link posted on this thread ;)) you should get the pop-up to say "Thank you, your entry has been accepted", or a particular sort of "silly noise" that lets you know a pop-up has been blocked :D.

If I'm right and this is what's happening, it doesn't mean that you're not submitting the crosswords - just that your PC isn't showing you the pop-up that confirms this!

but you only get 10 points for the ones that would have been on your home page anyway, you do not get points for every click through

Sometimes you dont actually get click throughs being an old piggy ;) BUT when people post thier clickthroughs for us they work and we are able to get the 10p from them :):D so its worth clicking and checking.

    Hey everyone,

Firstly, just want to say thanks for all the links and answers that you give, you're all a great help!

I've just ordered a CD from CD-WOW through Shop & Earn, and I wondered how long the points take to come through, as it doesn't say on the page?

I got 4 today, but none of the links on here worked...I eventually got them through my own page.

If people post CT's that you werent meant to get on your own page, then you wont get the points anyway...

OK, Fritha's guide to CT linking (as nicked from whoever explained it the first time!)

To get a CORRECT CT link
, when you have the purple border instead of left clicking to go through the offer right click and select 'copy link location'. Come back here, right click in your new message and select paste. The link will appear like this http://www.pigsback.com/members/memOpenOffer.asp?oid=846229196&aid=VOVB&pe=true&rid=10039357

To get an INCORRECT CT link (but a correct standard link), left click on the purple or border (or whatever you want to link to) select the address in the address bar (click and drag so it all goes blue) press ctl+c (or right click on top of the blue and select copy) then come back here, right click on your message select paste. The link will appear like this:
    http://www.pigsback.com/offers/846229196/default.asp

If the first CT link version is clicked on you will get the points if you are eligible for that CT, if you click on the second one you won't you will just go straight to the offer.

    I hope that makes sense/helps :-)
