As you are aware I am unable toraise the 50%. I can and have spoken to a friend who will enable me to up theoffer to 40% which by my calculations totals £xxx.xx.

I will pay this amount Fridayfor closer of the account this is my final offer as come Friday I will closeall UK based accounts and return to china for the next 7 years on the followingTuesday.

I also know that on my returnfrom china after 7 years the debt will be statute barred after 6 years. This isan avenue I do not wish to take however as it seems negotiations are goingnowhere.



In regards absolute minimum thiswould be me waiting for this account to become statute barred. So absoluteminimum is relative.

I am trying to undertake thebest financial outcome for all. However, I have increased my offer from 20% nowto 40%. This is my final offer and I am aware you have to refer this offer backto cabot. I will be leaving the UK next Tuesday and will only have a UK bankaccount until Friday.

Dear Stefan,



I have spoken to Cabot inregards the offer I have made in regards the settlement of this account. I alsospoke to one of your call centre workers yesterday. In regards settling the accountfor 28% of the outstanding balance. This would be a full and final settlementoffer.

I have explained to both Cabotand Mackenziehall that I am back in the UK for another 5 days (attending afuneral) and then I return back to China for the foreseeable future.

I have limited money in the UK,However once the money in the UK account is gone the account will be closed. Ihave gone through an income expenditure as requested by one of your members ofstaff. However, as explained prior to undertaking this, I am now living inChina and all moneys are in RMB.

I do look forward to a promptresponse in-regards settling this account. However, I am aware that the speedat which cabot and yourselves communicate is working against the period of timeI will be in the UK.

Having settled other accountswhich defaulted at the same times as the account you are managing for between20 – 25% I feel 28% is more than what I have paid others.

I do hope you understand that Ido have only limited moneys and time to settle this matter.
