I've searched the site but can't find this...

Superdrug have yet another camera offer on. This time round I've bought two S500 cameras for just £29.99 reduced from their 'original price' of £99.99.

Funnily enough we have two Superdrugs in town and the larger one is currently selling this camera on offer reduced to £49.99.

Last month's offer had this camera down to £44.00. Boots are currently selling the same camera under a different model name, Cyber530, for £99.99 reduced from £129.99. It the same camera because both model names are on the bottom of the camera in small print.

This is an excellent quality camera, I've bought three now and as long as you use high power ni-mh rechargables I'd recommend it.

How many snaps can you take with and without flash on a set of NiMHs?

Gosh, not used it for that long.

All I can tell you is I'm using 2X AA 2500 ni-mhs, taking the pictures at best quality on a 1 gig card and I've got 120 pictures and a few movies and the battery is still around 2/3 full.

The Duracells that came with it lasted less than an hour.

We've been round 4 Superdrugs in Edinburgh including the two big ones this afternoon and none of the branches have any digital cameras of any brand at all. One branch even told us that they no longer even stock digital cameras!

My local Superdrug (small store) only had a few digital cameras but I was lucky to get one at £29.99 if was showing the higher price but they scanned it and it was £29.99
