You could try https://www.computerbargains.co.uk which is where I purchased my pc and I have no complaints, was a 'bargain' at the time and still going strong after 3 years with a few upgrades.

hi i hope i'm wrong but gravy173 puts up a request giving laptop specs, only 1 reply from asguk but that reply gives a website link, clink on link up pops a laptop with EXACT specs gravy 173 asked for & surprise surprise also exactly the price he wanted to pay. i may be cynical but this smacks of a set-up/multi id posting there are plenty of cheap(& good) laptops out there but if i had a shop/business to promote moneysavers is a great place for free advertising.
if i'm wrong i apologise but i dont think i'll need to say sorry
    all the best

i bought a laptop for myself - i'm after a laptop for my uncle and i really am looking for that spec laptop.

Incidently that link is no good as the price with VAT is £350+ whereas i dont want to pay more than £300.

Seems to me like theres too many on here that like a good conspiracy theory.

does anyone know of any other places i might be able to get one - as i've said it doesnt matter if its used

I purchased a reconditioned Packard Bell ixtreme from the company whose website I quoted and have had trouble free use of it.

I saw the query from gravy173 and as I have had dealings with the company thought I would mention them as they are good to deal with - nothing more to it , I'm afraid to be so boring and honest.

The only contact I have ever had with 'gravy' is on my sunday lunch.

Just to add, i remember lurking when the pcw lappy deal was kicking off. This item was discussed for shill bidding here

Now, seems a little strange how they are both from middlesbrough and into laptops.
