Tuition Fee Loans

Options
I can't find anything on the site so I thought I'd ask on here...

After a few months of ringing and applying for student finance, I have only just been told that I will not be eligible for a tuition fee loan for my course starting in september.

Even before I left my last course, I asked whether I was eligible to apply next year and the person I spoke to said I was. Apparently that is not the case and now I am left with a £6000 tuition fee that I'll need to pay in September.....

But I digress...

So, my question is, are there any other ways of covering a tuition fee for university?

I would really love some advice on this! :o

You can work and save for it.
  • I am currently working full time and I'm saving as much as I can but unfortunately I won't save enough in time.

What about a student bank account with an OD.

What about asking family for an advance for birthday/xmas.

You are eligible for tuition fee funding for the normal length of your course + 1 year.

What funding have you already received and for what course?

(By the way, there are loads of similar questions on the Student Board.)
