    Don't forget, if Dad draws his state pension and still works he no longer need pay NICs on his wages.

    Payment of NIC is not paid after 60 years of age. If he is paying it on his wages, he shouldnt be.

    Yes. NI is payable until you reach State Pension age, which is a moveable feast at the moment.

    Well it was correct up to 18 months ago, perhaps the legislation has changed with the chnge of pension age. Do you have a link so I dont make the same mistake again please.

    My boss told me (afore I retired) that he stopped paying NI when he was 60, guess he was mistaken or i misheard.
