Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask but last night I put a pan on my ceramic hob and it flaming well cracked!

I can't find anywhere online that sells this one (APL 1324). Does anyone know where I could get one?

The crack on the hob is very small, so will it be ok to continue using it - but just not use that particular rung?

    You could ask here

If I were to use it, I would stay nearby just in case.

Has the crack gone right through the top?

Have you got a name of manufacturer for the hob, as diplomat doesn't show up

I don't know how it happened. I took a hot pan off, drained veg and put it back on when I heard a cracking noise.

It's on the back plate and if feels like it's about 2.5 inches long.

Would it be ok to just use the other 3.

I've got the instruction booklet but it doesn't give any measurements so I don't know what to do about trying to get the cheapest replacement.

When you live alone it's really difficult to make a decision.

I'm pig sick. In the past month I've: dropped a bottle in my bathroom sick and smashed it (the sink), had a leak in the kitchen as some piggin workman didn't check the stopcock (which leaked for a week before I noticed), the shed blew down and now this! I'm absolutely pig rotten sick!

The booklet just says Diplomat and there's 3 in the range (mocca, white and stainless steel) got it from MFI 6 years ago before they closed for good

I can only say what I would do and that is to see how the other rings go, while staying in the kitchen to keep an eye on it

The number APL 1324 shoud give the correct replacement, though ask on the site in the first link before buying it, also ask them about using it and how much fitting will be.
