Tesco are cancelling all orders- wrong price and won't be honouring it!!

    GUTTED!!!

I have had confirmation that i can collect from my branch tomorrow. Oh no, i hope its not going to get nancelled. Have you had an email?
  • I had confirmation then they cancelled it- so I phoned and asked why cause it was showing as being in stock - they told me all orders have been cancelled as it was priced wrong and they don't have to honour it! Guy was arrogant and cheeky- he said surely you must have noticed it was priced wrongly! I said eh no? Surely that's Tescos job to price.

Thats terrble. They have taken payment so therefore it should belong to me..... Shocking they can just cancel once you have paid.
  • That's what I said- he told me to read terms and conditions- still belongs to them until it's collected or dispatched even though they took our money!! X

Just spoken to my hubby and he seems to think that because the webpage is still there showing the price and we paid the price its shown at, they cant refuse to sell it at that price. Same as if you were in a shop and something is marked at a certain price.

I suppose those t & cs are their get out clause.

Why is every post from Loopylousmummy on a Tesco thread saying that they've cancelled their order?

personally, if you want to give this a go then go for it.

It is in their Terms & Conditions that they dont have to honour it unless it is already dispatched to the customer.

    Fingers crossed :(
  • I'm not telling people not to go for it- just telling them exactly what Tesco told me today.
