I've also been trying to find a way of swapping tickets for the Olympics - we have four tickets for the mens' team gymnastics finals on Monday July 30th, which I know are REALLY precious tickets, it's just that we are die-hard athletics fans and would rather have tickets any day for the athletics! I have phoned the Olympics helpline but they could only advise me to return them for a refund, which I don't want to do. Anyone any advice, there must be a lot of people in the same situation!

May I ask who you called to get a refund? I have some football tickets that I won't now be able to attend due to ill health. I thought that they were nn refundable and am looking at losing a few hundred quid.

don't worry, there is going to be another time slot when you can return tickets no longer needed. if you look on the official website you will find the link
