You need to post this over on the bankruptcy forum as the rules for BR SOAs and debt free ones are very different.

    Have you considered a DRO?

The Soa for a debt wanabee would be different for someone doing a bankruptcy order - as bankupt they would allow you a set allowance, whereas a debt free wanbee we'd be saying cut the shopping to aldi, cook more, get rid of the sat go freeview etc.

A debt relief order - if you owe less than 15k, and have £50 a month less from expenses, then this would be more gentle than a bankruptcy as its only 12 months.

If you moved your partners debt to the debts this would free up £95 and with a couple of tweeks you could maybe look at that, have you gone through a debt agency for the advice, recommend cccs, and payplan as there both free.

May be worth looking into. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

My partner is not declaring bankruptcy, only me, these debts are in her name. Our Child Tax Credits are in both names , so I was told to add that as my income, however, my partner wishes to pay her bills as they are quite low as she is not declaring bankruptcy.

This might sound harsh but your income from benefits is higher than my wage from working and my bills are miles higher than yours. I know you said you were made redundant so I am not calling you lazy or a scrounger but it doenst seem to me that its that bad. But as for cutting down - groceries seems the obvious one. We manage on £200 a month.

Ok, I havent correctly filled this in, forgot our sons milk money, and Daughters lunch money.

The Telephone land line, was including internet, so will split these up. Includes 3 mobile phones, all under contract. And reduced Satellite charge through Sky to £22.50 a month. Put an emergency fund of £20 a month.

Thanks for all your feedback I will redo my SOA and put it in the proper board.

Also Cottonhead, the Groceries basically cover all the housekeeping, food, toilet rolls, shampoo, nappies, wipes, etc. we can easily spend that having 3 children as they eat loads, 2 youngest boys are really fussy, lol.

The lunch monies have to be included in the groceries section as you are replacing one meal with a £2 a day per child lunch money allowance.... you are posting on BR board so you will get more appropriate advice there. Good luck...
