Hi all,
I just signed up to Amazon's clothing emails to get the 20% off code. I want to order some shoes but really need to order 2 different sized pairs as I'm an inbetween size and need to try them and return the ones that don't fit.
I've had a read through the voucher t&cs and there's a confusing bit about returns when using the code -
If you return a clothing or shoe item Amazon.co.uk reserves the right to charge you for the discount you may have received as part of this promotion.
I don't get what it means by 'charge you'. I understand that when I return an item I would get a refund of the sale price including the discount but I'm concerned that I might end up having to pay out for something.
Can anyone explain what this means please?

Hi it means if you buy some shoes that cost £10 you will only pay £8 with your 20% discount so they will not give you £10 back if you return the shoes only the £8 that you originally paid, just a strange way of saying it.
The discount on the second pair of shoes will still apply.

Do you know how long it took for the 20% off voucher to come through after you signed up to the newsletter?0

Thanks, spoke to Amazon and they confirmed what mamaduke said and admitted that it was worded in a confusing way!
Moromir the voucher arrived within about 5 minutes of me signing up.0
