Asda online?

I've received an e-mail from Asda advising they'll be doing internet shopping in my area in a couple of weeks (long awaited). Does anyone have any codes for Asda?

Lucky you, i have been emailing my local Asda for months to persuade them to deliver in my area, but as yet, nothing.
I have never seen any Asda codes anywhere!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I've had Asda Online in my area for several years.
No, I've never seen any Asda vouchers anywhere either. They make a point of keeping prices down instead.
They were voted the UK's cheapest supermarket several years running - unless I've got that wrong - presumably by keeping prices down instead of having loyalty cards and money-off vouchers.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -
Thanks anyway.
I was hoping there might be a free delivery code out there.
I'll use it anyway, as I say it's been long awaited.0 -
You'll find that Asda has the lowest delivery charge of the supermarkets anyway at £4.25, so that's a saving to begin with. The only thing is I've found them a bit slow with refunding me when I was overcharged for some coffee last month. One price showed up on my online order, then when I got the goods along with the delivery note I noticed I'd been charged a higher price. After 2 phone calls I'm still waiting for a refund to my debit card. >:(The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Tesco delivery is £3.99 tue to thurs so asda isnt the cheapest."There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children; one of these is roots, the other wings" - Hodding Carter

be warned - my first (and last) experience of asda online was that they brought milk that was out of date, didnt deliver any bread (tesco always will deliver staples even if they dont have the brand you want).
when i called to object they said they'd credit double the cost back to my account for the 8 pints of rotten milk (they didnt). the veg was also on its last legs.
they also suggested i go to the store to collect more milk - defeats the object of online ordering really, also im disabled and unable to get to the store - i explained this and they promised to deliver next morning - that was three weeks ago - im still waiting! tesco may be a littlew more expensive but well worth it i'd say
all in all asda is only worthwhile in my opinion if u can get to the store and see the produce you're paying forR

I agree Asda online are rubbish at least my local one is.
They once took 3 days to deliver my shopping and 3 weeks to refund all the errors.
