maybe mum is trying to tell you something:D:p;)
Unfortunately she hits everyone's car, but just in our driveway, where she has some mental block, not normal car parks. I've learnt to buy old cars which already have plenty of scratches!

Without sounding rude, have you considered taking an hours lesson with a driving instructor to brush up on parking? Mine was excellent, full of tips and tricks and having someone trained to see where you're going wrong at the moment and offering advice could be invaluable.

Might be worth the £20 if it saves a few more scrapes in your car, or even worse, scraping someone elses car and costing £hundreds in insurance! Keep trying to convince my Mum to do the same (she's hit my car twice now when I've gone to visit her!) but no luck yet!

I don't take this as rude at all, it's a very good suggestion in fact, except all of my scrapes are generally when I'm tired....I just have visions of my driving instructor when I was first learning (many years ago) who was this fat sweaty bloke, who was really a bit creepy...

Might I suggest that you don't drive when you're tired then? So far you've listed 3 avoidable accidents in the last year where you e hit 3 large inanimate objects. What hope for a dog/cyclist/child if you are too tired to check what you're near?!

:rotfl: It's during games of "musical cars" on the drive, trying to switch around so people can get out... promise!

Ask for recommendations. If you post the first part of your postcode I bet someone on here will know someone slim and non-sweaty!

That's a very fair point, although I didn't actually say all the mishaps were in the last year - I'm running at about one a year. I am actually a very slow (grannie) driver - the sort who often has another impatient driver right up my ar£$ because I'm adhering to the speed limit and running over any living thing is be my worst nightmare. But I've never had any accidents other than parking - I think I must let my guard down at this time.....

If I post my postcode, I might find the roads near me are a lot clearer around my commuting times as people try to avoid me and especially my parking habits!!

I am General Umaga from Nigeria and this lamp post belongs to me. Please send me a large payment of your sterling currency through western union to pay for the damages that you have caused to my lamp post.

PS the good news is that you have also won the lottery but need to send us even more money so we can post the winning ticket.:D
