pc tools firewall message.

I keep getting this message repeating.
Unhandled exception 0xc0000005
ViewManager::GetFWMode()

This is since firefox updated and win 7 updates installed.

Any thoughts?

    Any thoughts?

    Uninstall PC Tools Firewall? There's a slim possibility this could be down to faulty RAM, but I'm inclined to believe this is just another software conflict.

    Thanks, I'm from the old school where it was said that the windows firewall was not up to speed, has it been improved enough in win 7?

    It's sufficient provided you're sitting behind a router with one of its own. When out and about I leave the OS itself at home so I don't need to worry about it. ;)

    I know my old router did but is it safe to assume the BT one(3) has a nat? Normally you can't get at the system.

    Home Hub default behaviour is to refuse all incoming requests. NAT just muddies the waters a bit further.
