What notification do debt collection agencies get when you access your credit record?

Ive just completed the process of getting access to my experian credit report online,
and am considering also completing the process to get access to my equifax file.
However if i obtain access to my equifax file online,
the debt collection agencies who i owe money to that are listed on my equifax file,
will they be notified through email/letter that i have obtained access to my credit record??

If they don't have your current address, applying for your credit report with this and your previous addresses could create address links that lenders and collectors could then see. But we don't literally tell people when you check your report.

I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

Ah no thats fine,
as i already have both my previous and current addresses listed on my experian credit report, and have no issue with any DCA knowing both those addresses, as they would already know them when buying my debt.
I was just abit concerned as a few other posters have been saying that ''as soon as you access your credit report all the DCAs will be chasing after you'',
which made it sound like all the DCAs who are on your credit-record got some kind of automatic notification that you were obtaining your file...!!
And as im going to be requesting my equifax file too this week, i didn't want any DCAs who have listed my debts on there but not on experian to suddenly get notified that i was actively obtaining my files,
incase they then also listed my debt on experian.
Thanks for your help and confirmation though. :beer:0
