Mermaid Omelette Pan

I have finally got around to treating myself to one of these as I think they are the ones they use on Ready Steady Cook and I've always been envious that they can start things on the hob then chuck them in the oven to finish them off. Can anyone answer the following:
1. Am I right in thinking that it is the Mermaid pans they use on Ready Steady Cook?
2. I'll "season" the pan (hopefully) before I use it, but then how do I keep it looking good? I have a feeling that in a couple of weeks it'll look as bad as all the others - is it just me
3. What's the bet when I put it in the oven I forget that when I take it out it'll be very hot

I don't know if these are the ready steady cook ones but I know Delia is a fan of these.
I really want one - let me know how you get on.

Peem, there was a special offer in Good Housekeeping this month and it was £12.99 including p+p (let me know if you want the details).0

I thought the ones on ready steady cook where circulon (you can get them John Lewis) quite expensive though.
I had some as a wedding present but they spoiled in the dishwasher.0 -
I tried Circulon in the distant past and wasn't too keen on them - couldn't get them clean, I didn't have a DW then.
This is really strange - but earlier I thought I saw (or imagined) a reply from Competitionscafe on this thread and now it has disappeared! It was about Le Crueset - tell me I am not going mad please!!! I went away to think about it because I have 2 Le Creuset casserole dishes which I use all the time and it jerked my memory into recalling that somewhere I had a Le Crueset frying pan and griddle pan - and I found them in the garage. Of course, the Le Crueset frying pan could be used on the hob and then thrown in the oven so I am kicking myself for not being OS. I think I may be excused because I found it too heavy - the casseroles are fine because of the side handles but the friers are just too much for my weak wrists.0 -
I don't have a Mermaid one, yet.....but I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher, or leave it to soak in detergent.
Personally, I think a quick wash and then dried straightaway is the best bet.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

I'd be grateful if you could post the details for this - I've wanted a frying pan that can go into the oven for ages and I love Mermaid stuff ( I never realised they did an omplette pan! ) Thanks.0 -
Can't actually find the details now cos I cut the bit out of Good Housekeeping and I can't find it!. However, I have the invoice and, if my memory serves me well, you phone 0121 554 2001 and say you want to order the Mermaid Little Gem Omelette Pan with the Good Housekeeping offer priced at £12.99 with free postage & packing.0

I have QVC's Cook's Essential range and these too can go in the oven.
