Going from self managed to DMP with CCCS

Good afternoon all
Me, yet again!
I am in the process of setting up my own debt management plan, and I have managed to set up standing orders to some of my creditors.
However some of them are becoming difficult to deal with and unwilling to accept a payment plan.
I have requested CCCS and done their debt remedy questionnaire online, filled in my details and just waiting on them getting back to me.
Does anyone have any advice/encouraging words? Will the process be smooth? Do I need to cancel all the standing orders I have set up? Roughly how long does it take to set up?
Thank you
