loan or credit card??

Hi, i have recently took redundancy and i'm now on stat maternity pay, I have a credit card that was interest free with Barclay card but its coming to an end, im not sure if i should get a loan to clear it or try and shift to a new card, its got around 9k on it as we used it for our extension/kitchen. not sure if a new card would allow a large amount

Any advice would be great

Linda

Personally, I'd try for a new card at 0% if you have a good credit rating. Are you disciplined enough not to add to the debt (was always my problem!)? But it's a huge amount to be owing on credit cards so you really need to be focused on clearing it ASAP.
