You wouldn't get a job reporting for the Daily Mail but your post is most certainly excellent. A very informed, impartial and rational view. What a refreshing change.Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc0 -
Vince Cable is the only one I'd trust in the job less than Gordon the Moron Brown !If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
If you do like it please hit the thanks button.0 -
How anyone can even try to rationalise socialists making good Chancellors beats me!
And if you want to use public sector spend to GDP as a yardstick, use the actual numbers!
1970s socialist government got spend up to 45%. Thatcher/Major (even Blair) then got it down to 37%. What did Brown do? Back up to 45% in three years! What a man!
And, as for Cable being 'the man'..............well...........what has he done for business these past couple of years? And his so-called 'prediction' of the crash was the usual post-event fortune-teller's expose of one particular speech he made.0
