Hi all,
I was just cruising the Tesco website after seeing an article about checking and redeeming unused coupons, and came across this. I wonder if any one has used it at all? I'm homeless at the moment but am getting the keys to a council house on 23rd September, and was looking at maybe seeing if I am eligible for this. Either way, thought I'd post it up just in case - the number is an 0800 one as well, so it cost nothing for you to enquire

Hello,
I work for a loft and cavity wall insulation company and I believe the free insulation offer is a nationwide scheme and is offered by all insulation companies, not just tesco. Additionally, it is available free to anyone even if you are not in receipt of benefits. The free scheme runs out soon due to the green deal coming into effect, so if you'd like to get your home insulated before the winter for free I'd recommend ringing up any of your local insulation companies if you do not wish to use the tesco link!
Hope this helps people

you could also get 3000 clubcard points.

Free 3,000 Tesco points. Tesco is giving 3,000 points to every household that's eligible for free cavity wall or loft insulation. The offer ends 29 September but as it's due to limited CERT funding, it may go sooner.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Hi
What is the green deal you mention above please?0 -
I dont know much about the green deal but as far as I'm aware it is a new scheme coming into effect in the next few months where customers will still be able to have their loft and walls insulated however the cost of this will be added onto utility bills. Therefore its best for customers to get the work done now while the free scheme is still running. I'm not that clued up on the green deal to be honest so if you want to know more about it check out something like: http://www.decc.gov.uk/en/content/cms/tackling/green_deal/green_deal.aspx0
