Mortgage exit fees help

hi,
I was looking at sending a letter to two banks about getting some compensation if I'm entitled to it but all I know is the name of the banks and the years I exited 2003 and 2007.
I have no other information like account/reference number.
Can someone give me some advice on what to do here.

You dont need the numbers if you have your name and address. Plus it is not compensation you will get. It will be a refund payment plus interest on any extra you paid that was above what was agreed in your contract.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
