Just wondering if anyone has had this procedure & if so did you achieve good weight loss results?
Also, is it available on the NHS?

No its not available on the Nhs I have been looking into it myself and its approx £4000, I like the fact that it is non invasive and is really just a kick start. Have you looked into it further?0

I looked into this and what I read put me right off. It seems that you can suffer a lot of nausea, vomiting and pain while balloon is in place. Not a great way to feel for 6 or 12 months. Some people have felt so awful they had it taken out so money wasted. I suppose like all methods of losing weight it will be great for some but not others. If it had only cost a couple of hundred quid I may have taken the chance but not for thousands.0

Don't forget a lot of people regain their weight following surgery. This is from today's Daily Mail

I haven't looked any further into it as I'm waiting to get an appointment with my GP to discuss my weight issues again.
My weight problems are pretty much solely down to the medication I take. So, I really really struggle losing weight. So was looking for a semi permanent solution.0
