My Council Tax band query

Having gone through the system as outlined in Martin's article on council tax rebanding, I discovered that I should probably be on band A instead of Band C as My house is currently worth £75000 and would have been £26645 in 1991. However, I went over to my local council's website and checked out their council tax and this page is telling me that I should possibly be in Band E :eek:
Should I continue with my intentions of rebanding. Or is this a bad move?

THe band values are those set at the beginning of council tax, they haven't changed since. If you house was worth around £26K then, it would be a band A, possibly a B.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
