Afternoon all,
I have done a soft search on Nationwide loan and being quoted an APR of 12.9%. Does this APR mean I am likely to be accepted if I go ahead with it or is it too high?
Thanks
That is not a bad quote at all I would say it was highly likely that you would be accepted :-)
Good luck0 -
Hi,
I'd be very interested to learn if you get accepted. I've just been quoted 9.9%, and I'm unsure whether or not to apply.
Thanks,

I also got the 9.9% but don't need a loan I was just bored & see what they gave, done the credit card one and got 15.9% so pretty sure you will get the same on this to.0 -

Ok...I can tell you what happens when you get a soft search and then apply.
The quote is only valid on the day of the soft search, there is a little box which says "The quote was produced on ??/05/2012, is valid today only and is for illustrative purposes only"
We have just gone back to apply for the loan we were quoted on 9th May and it has now gone upto 9.9% from 7.8%.
When you get your email with your customer number there is a line which states "Your loan application will be saved for up to 15 days." these are just your details saved and not the quote.
I have rang them to clarify the above.Born and bred in Manchester (proud of it)

Did the rate go up when you did a full application or when you did another soft search ?0 -
I logged in with the customer reference and before you go further into the process you have to enter the amount and term into the calculator again. . . . . . . .At that point i gave them a callBorn and bred in Manchester (proud of it)

Hi,
I applied yesterday (Monday) morning. All I see when I log in is the 'approved in principal' message. I'm concerned that I've not hear anything back yet.
How long did it take for you to get absolute approval or rejection from when you applied?
Thanks,
Fish0
