Where can I get jeans/trousers for wide hips?

I've been working hard to lose some weight and decided that it was finally time to try the next size down - a UK 12.
I have an hour glass figure so I often struggle to find tops (recommend New Look and Dorothy Perkins!), but in the past I've always gone to Next for my jeans and trousers. Unfortunately now, it seems that the cuts at Next are too "straight" for me. I definitely needed a size 12 for my thighs and bum, but a 14 for my hips. I did manage to find one pair of jeans that fit both (at £45, thanks Mum!) but no work trousers.
Found a perfect fitting size 12 pair of jeans in Sainsburys but their black trousers felt really flimsy and not very good quality. I don't need a full suit, just a couple of pairs of smart trousers. I know that skirts are easier but unfortunately it gets really cold in the office so I would really prefer trousers.
Can anybody recommend some places for me to look?

I have wide hips also. The ONLY place I will shop for jeans or trousers is Topshop. The fit for me is like nowhere else on the high street. Zara are quite good too for smarter trousers but beware of sizing, make sure you go into the store and do do do try on different style and sizes as most sizing is European. Both are slightly more expensive, no more so than next but the quality of next these days is shocking IMO. A pair of topshop jeans for me will last 3-4 years at a cost of around £10 per year. I wear them 3 times a week so definitely worth it!The Year Of DreamsBig Love To All Comp Sharers

The Gap, they do a 'curvy' fit
Find an outlet & you'll find bargains too!
